Abstracts

Abstract presentations are split into two formats: oral abstracts and poster abstracts.

Oral abstracts are 13-minute oral presentations, plus a limited question-and-answer time. Once accepted, oral abstracts are organized into sessions by theme. Slots for oral abstract presentations are more limited, making acceptance more competitive.

Poster abstracts are organized into two one hour sessions during which the presenter must be present with their poster to discuss the work with attendees. Posters can be presented at almost any stage of research and provide an excellent opportunity for authors to discuss their methods and findings with other professionals.
