Pillow Case Project

As part of the community engagement process the IPSA team liaised with the Glasgow Children’s Hospital charity (glasgowchildrenshospitalcharity.org), the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital charity (echcharity.org) and the UK sleep charity (thesleepcharity.org.uk) to develop a project which would involve children from across Scotland and the UK. 

Chairing the Program Committee

This section of the newsletter focuses on the work being done by the IPSA Program Committee. Highlights include the Keynote talks by Dr. Minor, which was a breathtaking presentation on how big data can be used to study the effects of night-time warming on human sleep from a global perspective, and Dr. Verhulst’s pertinent presentation regarding obesity and OSA in childhood, emphasizing the critical need for a holistic approach universally.

Countdown to IPSA in Glasgow

The countdown begins for our first in person meeting since Paris in 2018! This promises to be an unforgettable event, bringing together a diverse range of people with a passion for pediatric sleep from around the globe! The number and quality of symposia received for Glasgow has broken all records for IPSA. More symposia, more people, and more countries than ever before!

Nurturing young minds: Prizes for Young Researchers

Recognizing the importance of fostering emerging talent, IPSA is proud to announce prizes for new researchers. This initiative aims to encourage innovation and excellence in the field of pediatric sleep. Two award opportunities are being offered to IPSA 2024 Glasgow oral or poster abstract presenters.

Task-force and Webinar Update

This section of the newsletter will feature 'live' work that comes from our members and task-forces. Each newsletter will invite a lead of one of our task-forces or webinars to give an update on the progress.
